Gameplay
How RoChess works
Players sit down to play chess on Roblox, either against other people or against computer bots. Games are rated and can be played across nine time controls, so you can choose how much thinking time each side gets.
Your aim is to play well enough to earn a rating and climb the leaderboards for Bullet, Blitz, Rapid and Puzzles. Puzzles give you a way to practise between games, with over 1,300 rated puzzles to work through.
The game stands out for the support it gives after and during play. Game Review gives accuracy scores and marks your brilliant moves and blunders. The game also recognises more than 3,800 openings as you play them, and an Analysis Board with a live engine lets you study positions.
