How New To Play picks new games

New To Play lists new games the day they reach the charts. Everything runs on fixed rules, the same for every game, so no game gets in because someone paid or asked.

Which games get in

• The game is in Roblox's Up-and-Coming or Top Trending chart. We read the global and US charts, on computer and phone, every 6 hours.
• It first reached a chart less than 30 days ago, and it was made on Roblox less than 180 days ago.
• Its name is in English.

There is no player or search minimum: the chart itself is the bar.

Dates

A game's date is the day we first saw it in a chart. Roblox's own creation date can sit months before a game launches. The first weeks of the list (September 21 to October 17, 2026) come from our game monitor, which read the same charts every 2 hours.

Players, passes and badges

Player counts come from Roblox at each reading, so the charts on game pages are our own history. Passes, prices and badge numbers come from Roblox's public data.

Codes

Codes are read from each game's own description on Roblox. A code is shown only if it is written there letter for letter. When the developer removes it, it moves to the expired list. A game with no codes says so, with the time we last checked.

Game pages stay

A game page is never deleted. If a game leaves Roblox, its page says so and it drops out of the lists.
