How Punch Walls to Escape works
You start in solitary confinement with only your fists. Punch Walls to Escape is a simulation game where you break through the wall block by block. Vacuum up the rubble you make and dump it in the Bottomless Bucket to get cash. Use the cash and your progress to upgrade your fists and vacuum, then unlock better digging tools.
Your goal is to dig a tunnel all the way to freedom. The game lets you step into a cell in the prison yard and team up with up to 4 players, so you can break out with friends. Before you start, you choose a sentence: Easy is a short dig, Normal is a longer dig, and Hard is the longest dig and unlocks after you escape on Normal.
The game continues into Chapter 2, where a huge new cellmate, Big Tony, also wants out. Your task there is to dig him a door big enough for him to fit through.
