How Punch Out Of Prison works
You break prison walls cube by cube in first person, choosing from 13 different hole shapes. Rubble is sold at the crusher, and the money buys upgrades such as harder punches, bigger holes, a bigger backpack and helpers. Helpers for the yard include pigeons, Biscuit the dog, tower hoses and a bulldozer. Each escape earns gems, which unlock gloves, hit effects, classes and emotes. THE GYM offers permanent upgrades for training.
Chapter 2, The Yard, unlocks after you escape Chapter 1 once. Progress there follows the same loop of breaking walls, selling rubble and buying upgrades. Halloween items such as pumpkin gloves, a candy shop and spooky skins were available until Nov 2. Up to five players can team up, and team upgrades help everyone in the group. Breaking out together is done after finding the hidden tunnel, on Easy, Normal or Hard. The Hall of Fame ranks fastest times, escapes, blocks and playtime, and the IDEAS board lets players vote on suggestions.
