Gameplay
How Prehistoric Farm works
You dig up fossils at dig sites using a shovel. Hold down on a site and release when the meter is in the green to get a better find. Once you have a full set of fossils, take them to Dr. Ivy's DNA Lab to grow an egg, then warm the egg in an incubator until it hatches.
Your goal is to raise dinosaurs from Newborns into fully grown Elders. You keep a dinosaur growing by feeding its belly to over half full. When it is fully grown, you can ride it around your ranch and across the islands.
The game stands out because it combines digging, egg hatching, and dinosaur care with sailing, fishing, and riding your own dinosaurs. It also includes team play against a large sea reptile.
