How Last Stand works
Last Stand is a top-down strategy game set during a silent zombie outbreak in Manhattan. Thousands of New Yorkers go about their day while infected people hide among them, and each infected person turns at some point.
Your goal is to contain the outbreak before the city falls. You can build quarantine walls and checkpoint gates, send recon drones to expose hidden carriers, and deploy medics to cure the infected. Survivors can be evacuated by ferry and helicopter, streets can be fortified with machine-gun nests, and strike teams or a full bombing run can be called in when the horde gets too big.
What sets the game apart is that the infected are hidden in a normal crowd, so you have to find them before they turn. Night also changes the fight, because zombies become faster.
