How FATHOM works
The core of FATHOM is moving through the closed park while keeping noise to a minimum. The monster climbs walls, crawls through vents and reacts to any sound you make, including your voice. Your tools for getting away are the grapple, the camera flash and lockers for hiding.
The game has two modes. Story Mode is for players who want to learn what happened at the park, and Chase Mode drops you straight into the hunt.
FATHOM can be played alone or with up to 4 players. Everyone in the group needs to stay quiet, because the monster hears all of you.
How to start
Choose Story Mode to uncover the truth or Chase Mode for the hunt.
Stay quiet, since he hears footsteps, chat and your voice on the mic.
Use your grapple to escape when he gets close.
Flash your camera to blind him for a moment.
Hide in a locker and don't make a sound.
