Gameplay
How 911 Dispatch works
You work a dispatch console, taking calls and deciding which police, fire or ambulance units to send. Callers may panic, hang up or not know where they are, so you may need to ping their phone on the map. Units drive to the scene on the map and radio you if they need backup.
Each shift ends with a grade and pay. Money buys more units and unlocks new parts of downtown Chicago, with 14 districts to unlock. Shifts run from 2 minutes up to an hour, and a short training shift covers the basics.
Everyone gets their own city, so other players do not affect your calls, and progress saves. The game includes 46 call types, badges, a daily bonus and a global leaderboard. It plays on PC, phone and console with light and dark mode, and Subscribers get a 10% bonus at the end of shifts.
How to start
Answer the phone when it rings.
Ask the caller where they are and what happened.
Enter the incident and send the units you need.
Ping the caller's phone on the map if they don't know their location.
Watch units drive on the map and respond when they radio for backup.
