How Pools of The Locust works
Pools of The Locust is an obby and platformer on Roblox that supports phones, computers and consoles. You play through runs, earning coins as you go, and you try to get through the pools while something hunts you.
The creature in the pools cannot see you, but it can hear you in the water. Splashing is what gives you away, so the game asks you to move quietly. Your tools include a pebble, a bottle, a wind-up toy, a flare, a bear trap and an inflatable, and you can sell items for coins.
The game also offers optional paid passes that change coins, revives, jumps, upgrades and item skins. They are not needed to understand the core loop, which is about moving quietly and keeping your run going.
