Gameplay
How HEIST: Rob a Store works
The core loop in HEIST is planning a store robbery, getting inside, grabbing loot, and making it back to the van. You can break in quietly by picking locks, cloning fingerprints, cracking safes, and rewiring panels, or go loud and fight off the police. Every find rolls a rarity from Common to Jackpot, so loot varies from run to run.
Progress comes mainly from Crew Rank, which you earn by playing and which unlocks better gear. The game has 7 guns that can be fitted with attachments from Weapon Cases. Loot can be sold at the Pawn, where haggling may get you a better price, and your best finds can be kept in your stash.
You can play alone or team up with friends as a crew. HEIST works on PC, phone, tablet, and with a gamepad. The developer lists a special mission called The Jewelry Store Heist as a new addition, and the game is in early access, so bugs can be reported with the in-game Report button.
