How Build a Car Company works

You start a car company in 2009 and grow it into a global automaker. Each car is designed from a body, engine, drivetrain, chassis, paint, wheels and interior, then checked with a crash test and a test drive.

Finished designs are built in your factory. You set the price, add assembly lines and robots, and follow the sales. Along the way you research technologies, hire designers, engineers and salespeople, and race in several motorsport types to win fans, sponsors and trophies. The goal is to beat rival carmakers, show your cars at motor shows and reach billion-dollar company status.

What sets it apart is the range of research, which runs from petrol engines to hydrogen and flying-car technology, and the way the company grows from a small workshop into a large headquarters.
