Gameplay
How Become the Potato works
You play as a potato with your own avatar head. Each run is a trip that starts on the farm and ends on Potato Island, and you wait in a line on the way. The trip passes through several stages: being dug up, riding a truck, being picked at a store, a bubble bath in a sink, a dinner plate, and a float on a rubber duck.
Each trip ends with a new potato, sorted into rarity tiers from Common up to MYTHIC. Your goal is to collect all 25 potato varieties and 14 dishes. Along the way you can play pranks on the people in line, such as bonking the potato ahead of you or using a Spud Launcher.
What sets the game apart is its silly, line-based humor combined with collecting. You can also play as different roles, including Farmer, Chef, Cashier, Shopper, Driver and Eater.
